My choir sang this some time ago. This song is so great. :D
This isn't a love song, or at least not one to an object of romantic love. It was written mainly for his mother.
As Lennon and McCartney were known to do at the time, a substitute working lyric, entitled "Scrambled Eggs", was used for the song until something more suitable was written. LOL
