XIII
XIII is a Franco-Belgian comic book series about an amnesiac protagonist written by the Belgian Jean Van Hamme and drawn by the Belgian William Vance. The comic was also adapted into a video game courtesy of Ubisoft Paris in winter 2003. The video game was intended to have a sequel, hence the cliff-hangar ending, but unfortunately did not sell well enough to warrant one.
