well my old english teacher from 6th grade told our class that when she was young they would write the name of the person that they like on the bottom of their shoe in a permanant marker like a sharpie. If it faded away quickly it meant that the person that they liked didnt like them. if it stayed on for a while it meant that they felt the same way. Go ahead, try it.
