Even if you think you have nothing to say, do it anyway.
I love writing anything from a love note to a shopping list
=D
i just randomly write when im bored
which is most of the time lol
writing is a good way how to relax :)
My favourite way how to write something is typing :))) It is easier and faster. Because sometimes if you have to write something, you can loose your idea till you write it. And if you type it on PC, you can quickly write your idea :)
Writing is writing only if it is “performed” as handwriting I think. Otherwise it is just typing, no artistic or aesthetic.
confessedly.
But it is one view you have told: writing is art (the form how are you writing; the handwriting performance)
The other wiew: writing as the spirit, the content of what are you writing.
Well I take it physically, the first view you mentioned I mean. The other is “thought” for me in general, the content I mean :)
Its incredible what some people can achieve with just words :)
I agree with mahblouse: “Even if you think you have nothing to say, do it anyway”
I agree with wisewick: “My favourite way how to write something is typing”
(tho I agree summer has a point in saying “Writing is writing only if it is “performed” as handwriting I think. Otherwise it is just typing, no artistic or aesthetic”)
the tools of a writer are not words so much as thoughts.
Typing is definitely best for writing (or typing) that’s required of you.
But if you actually have something to say, you can’t beat pen and paper.
I really like my handwriting. But then again, I type incredibly quickly so that’s rather convenient. I can go both ways.
Writing is a great way to express yourself, it is also a way to free your mind by getting thoughts, ideas, etc. down on paper. Even if you don’t feel like telling someone, you can always write it down, it’s the next best thing to telling someone!
I write a lot but I usually end up hating my work. :D
I have terrible handwritting – Id prefer to read and talk then write
My handwriting is pretty bad too, so much so that I have taken to printing everything. Then some people say, “Why do you print like a child does?” “Then I say shut-up, I print because my handwriting is so bad” Sometimes you just can’t win!!
Writing is cool :) I do that when I’m not paying attention in classes. People say I write like a computer, but still I prefer typing.
I love to write short stories, I used to get awards for them when I was I grade school
I write everyday! I write a lot of poetry and just random feelings, emotions, facts about my day… random babbling. Songs. Novels.
the muse hits me every now and then (usually when i'm stressed), but most of the time i read.
i write the things ill never get to say
I love the feel of paper and pen/pencil, and a keyboard is also welcome! It's another way of expressing yourself!
I really love the upstart, <a href="http://yippykya.com">Yippykya.com</a>, because it really rocks for writers and bloggers.
It's so much more fun because they have YippykyaLive which makes it the only social network with live video feed. Furthermore, Yippykya has a really cool college page in addition to their talent section. Actually, I'm meeting a lot of people from diverse backgrounds and it's been really fun. My school's page is decked out really nice and the people on there are really friendly. Another good thing about this site is how easy it is get around. It's very 2.0 in look and function.
My only complaint is that there are so many beautiful models on there networking and getting votes, that my nickname on here "CampusHottie" is kind of a joke.
Writing lets you get off your chest what you can't say! Love it!
Writing is my hobby, it's something that I do once I run out of things to do.
I plan to become a famous author, make lots of money, and never have to do any work except sitting at my computer typing up stories! :)
AJ may need to revise his plan. Most writers can't even support themselves from their writing, regardless of quality. Even famous writers are often broke.
I don't know, but money could be a good spurn to became a famous writer. (When I was younger I only wrote to get the girls. It was a good spurn too.)
Well, no, I’m not writing for the money! I just rawk at it! Really, I don’t care about success in writing, it’s not a priority for me, but I would really like it if I did, just so that I could write for a living and not have to deal with regular work! I know becoming a successful author in not very likely. But I can try! :)
Good luck AJ. Believe on yourself and never bore the readers.
@Precipitation
I didn't mean to discourage! It's just that when I hear something like "I want to be a famous writer and make lots of money", I think it's sort of like hearing, "I want to be the world's best ditch-digger and become a billionare from digging ditches". It's not that I doubt ditch-digger-guy can become the best in the world; I just don't think ditch-digging is a spectacularly well-paid profession.
If you're writing because you love writing though, no one can argue with that. (In my experience, most people who are writing because they love it don't have any choice in the matter, anyway. )
what would i be withuot paper?
i love to write.....
theres something about letting how u feel escape u on to a page... it's wounderfull...
Writing helps me stay sane; Turn up the music and let the emotions pour across the page.

yeah we heard u the 1st time
(heehhee i can do that now)
sorry...my 2 year old was sitting in my lap, he finds it amusing to push as many keys at once as possible
awwww
my cats do that to me all the time! ;)
I like writing stories, no fanfictions.. haha...
uhm.. like writing down my thoughts; well.. yeah;
writing for me.. is like my secret getaway. =DD Haha.
me to. except i don't like writing about myself… for some reason..
Haha; okiez... writings a good way to express though, is it not?
Writing I think is a type of freedom that we have. It allows us to say what we want to say, or to express something that may not be excepted if if it were spoken aloud. Sometimes I feel like I can't find a book that I want to be reading. So instead of finding a book, why not write one? Then you know that you are getting satisfaction with what you are creating.
yup, yup,,u can know more bout someone when u loooked at their writing. i love writing tough it stiffing..
i just love writing. By writing, i just can express my mind, it feels like i'm being free to be myself. I'm just writing for mysef, and i feel great for that.
i am a writer….i write poetry
I love writing stories! Im writing this story in the midevil times so far it's about this girl named Catherine who disrupted a girl named Madeline (Catherines best friend) studies, they went out of the castle and some guy threw a shield at her…It looks better then it sounds xD I write lots of storys my parents are proud of me, Im in 7th grade…weird huh? I wrote a love poem look at my profile, and YES I made it myself. ;] The best poems are rhyming poems and love poems :D About my story, I just stared it today thats not what its about but what I have so far! :] I love ewriting short stories and poems and long stories…I suck at writing songs!
