Unsurpassed talent from China. Best know for his work on Chungking Express (1994), his best work includes As Tears Go By (1988), Days of Being Wild (1991), Fallen Angels (1995), Happy Together (1997) and In the Mood for Love (2000). Most recently, his movie 2046 (2004) was released on DVD in the United States. Wong Kar Wai both wrote and directed with his long-time collaborator Christopher Doyle as the Director of Photography.

Wong Kar Wai makes lurvely movies. Similar to Hou Xiao Xian. I think asian directors generally give an audience more to do—imaginatively.
