Wildfire is a 60-minute American drama television series that airs Monday nights at 8pm on ABC Family. The show centers on a teenage girl named Kris Furillo who, after serving time in a juvenile detention center, works as a jockey on the fictional Raintree Farm.
The show premiered June 20, 2005, and its second season began January 2, 2006. The third season premiered on January 1, 2007.
The theme song is titled “Morning Light” sung by Truman, and while the program takes place in the town of Fremont, California (not based on the real-life San Francisco Bay Area city of Fremont), it is actually filmed in the area of Rio Rancho and Corrales New Mexico.
