Personally, I have long suspected that wikipedia is regularly edited by government entities and companies to arouse skepticism about the validity of certain theories and claims.  Recently, this article was released, which added weight to my suspicions. "CIA, FBI computers used for Wikipedia edits"

@Hideous Monster. All sorts of organisations edit wikipedia, some for the wrong reasons. But i edit a lot of pages and after a while it becomes obvious which ones contain a bias and it gets deleted. Very quickly if its a popular article. The only article i know which has a bias which never gets corrected is scientology. And those guys are just nuts enough to pay someone to keep it that way.
