I love Wikipedia, funnily i’m using these days for also tech specs on standards. It’s just sooo good.

I agree. I’ve donated about $200 USD to wikipedia over the past 2 years because I use it so often!

Best Encyclopedia? probably. Though i like to keep E.Brittanica as a back up.

But best website and or source of information? Come on guys, there’s more to life than cold hard facts. Read between the lines!

I love Wikipedia. I occasionally have something to contribute, but I can really kill a lot of time just reading some of the great articles that represent our knowledge…

I wonder if we will ever finish learning ‘everything’?...

It’s great when you’re chatting to someone who isn’t an internet geek, and they ask you a difficult question. You just Wikipedia it, give them a great answer and they think you’re dead smart!

Wikipedia id the obvious choice for the first source of information but you probably want consult also other sources to be on the safe side. However Wikipedia has never let me down.

Good phun to be had at Wiki, but hardly a reputable source of information. One particular WIRED author refered to it as an ‘argument nexus’ – which is probably spot on.

The war was about whether a piece of software contains spyware or not. It doesn’t, and i did win. He ended up swearing at me on the talk page and gave up lol.
