Weird Al caused me to formulate a theory that humor exists primarily as a memory device. Because funny songs seem much easier to memorize than other songs.

I’d have to say my favourite Al songs are either “Pancreas” or “Albuquerque”

Oh, so we’re listing our favorites, are we? Where to begin? I love “I Think I’m a Clone Now,” “Fat,” “This is The Life,” “When I was Your Age,” “The Good Old Days,” “You Don’t Love Me Anymore,” “Generic Blues,” “Horoscope,” “I Remember Larry,” “Constipated,” “Don’t Download This Song,” uhhh… “Yoda,” “Germs,” “You’re Pitiful” (because it reminds me of myself), I can think of many others that I know all of the words to, but aren’t my favorites, and I’m sure I’m forgetting some of my favorites.

The man is brilliant. Literally. Graduated at the top of his class, doesn’t smoke, is a vegitarian, has to know a lot of shit to write the lyrics he writes, directs music videos for a variety of artists. He nearly won on “Win Ben Stein’s Money,” a game show which put his intellect against that of a harvard law school professor.

He’s an American Musician that’s actually a good role model. And on top of all of this, he’s hilarious.

So, yeah… I like some of his songs.

I think “Trapped in the Drivethru” classifies more as a bedtime story.

That movie means about as much to me as a festering bowl of dog snot! No, just kidding, I liked it. I got to work on the set of a movie recently that was produced by the same guy who produced UHF . He’s a nice guy.

One might say it is not useful, but Kurt Cobain said he didn't feel like he was famous until Weird Al parodied one of his songs.

I see…  So you might say that it's useful in gauging musical fame.  Well, I would say it's useful for things like making me laugh, but in the previous comment I was refering to it's ability to produce neccessary goods and services.  If I'm stranded on a desert island with both Weird Al and the Professor from Giligan's Island, I'll take the coconut radio over the hilarious songs and silly facial expressions. (However, I will admit that Yankovic may prove to motivate a larger, and more deperate search party, though that search party would be just as strong, if Al had drowned when the tiny ship was tossed.)
