You should see a hilarious short film from Short Cut Productions titled Fernet 911. Too bad it's in Italian... It's a parody of Moore's film, obviously, in which the fake director enquires about big corporations hiding the secret that water is bad for us. He shows the "proofs" and the possible alternatives... You can find it on YouTube if you wanna have a look Smile

I kind of got some of it, washing you face with wine was pretty funny. I also noticed how water was so caustic it rusted that screw, and ate away at the fibers of that towel. Maybe we should look at alternatives... Laughing

Exactly! When I am really thirsty, I have to have a tall glass of icewater.

I can't wait until we all have water-powered cars.  It will happen, I tell you! Our cars will run on water in ten years, tops!

Not me, I'm gonna fill mine with Sprite! It'll be like high-Octane fuel!

So if I were to drop a few mentos into the tank would it be like adding a turbo or would the car just explode?!?

Saddam

That'd be pretty awesome! Are you gonna invent it Purple O?

Hideous Monster
Hideous Monster posted about 1 year ago

It would not rust, because the metal parts of the engine that touch the liquid water will be highly-corrosion resistant, stainless steel. The best part is that probably any internal combustion engine vehicle on the market or in use today, can be modified to run on water right now, and very cheaply, I might add. The only problem is that because the technology competes with the fossil fuel industry, the research on making such a modification has very little money behind it. Most research is being done by middle-class amateurs. Great care must be taken for these gonzo inventors with limited funds, because the water engine splits the water molecule, and burns the hydrogen produced, instead of gasoline, and hydrogen burns much hotter than gasoline. A simple cooling method must be developed. In the next few years, look for instructions online about how to do this yourself. Though today you can join in on the effort. Search for "water fuel cell." Youtube has some intriguing videos about it.

There's gonna be alot, I say ALOT of resistance to this…

Hideous Monster
Hideous Monster posted about 1 year ago

You're darn right there will be. An invention that produces hydrogen out of water, using less electricity than the combustion of that hydrogen could be used to generate. Consider this:  Suppose you want to hook your tap water up to one of these devices, and pipe hydrogen into your home for use in your furnace, water heater, and gas stove… there goes the natural gas industry.  Now suppose you modify a home electric generator to run on the same stuff… there goes your electric bill… Now suppose you want to use free groundwater, instead of tap water, but are afraid that it may be unsafe to drink…  burning this fuel produces PURE WATER. Goodbye utility bills, goodbye gasoline prices, goodbye greenhouse gasses, and hello massive job losses in those utility service industries (including my own, because I work at a gas station). The trucking and transportation industries would really take off, though, and all of the goods that benefit from them would drop in price.

dumbbrunette
dumbbrunette posted about 1 year ago

So pretty much you want to start a world wide depression and use up all of our fresh water supply, right?  So theres definatly goinng to be a lot of resistance.

Hideous Monster
Hideous Monster posted about 1 year ago

Read my text: the exhaust is PURE WATER VAPOR. The water supply will be pumped back into the environment, and generate no pollutants. The ecconomy would certainly suffer some temporary losses, but in the long run, the cost of living will plummet for everybody, and new jobs will be created. It's a method of generating heat, electricity, and pure water for free, using dirty water, and you're worried about a few million jobs? This technology could save lives all over the globe.

dumbbrunette
dumbbrunette posted about 1 year ago

More people living longer creating a greater population, which many will be unemployed. It wont create a "temporary" loss, it will be significantly huge!

Hideous Monster
Hideous Monster posted about 1 year ago

So basically you're saying that prosperity will just bring more problems, so it's useless to try. Maybe you like being dependent on the economy, but personally I think anything that can lower my reliance on other people's hard work and sacrifice is better for myself and the world.

I've already heard about water-powered cars, but i've never thought as deep as supporting all your house functioning on these kind of engines. It's exciting just imagining that possibility.
