My tap water is disgusting, so I just stick to drinking bottled water. Actually water is the only thing I drink.

As if water needs an endorsement! Really to glorify water is either an act of vanity, because it makes up most of your body, or an act of worship, because without it, no living cell of yours could survive. You would be a mummy. In fact, really there’s no such thing as a non-aquatic animal. Land animals such as ourselves are essentially just walking bags of water-soaked, organic material.

No I haven’t been abroad Mr. Negative, but I consider not experiencing foreign cultures a down side as well. Besides, almost anything in life has a downside. But, hang on, we’re getting sidetracked, we should be talking about water!!

Voda in Russian means water, plain and simple; vodka literally means dear little water. The usage reminds me of the Gaelic origin of the word whisky: uisge baugh (pronounced “ish’ka’ba’ha”), “water of life”.
