It would be difficult to dispute that this is the most well-written comic book series of all time. The art is really good, too. This is one thing that not only lives up to but also exceeds the hype.

So, the film has been greenlit, which is quite big news! Provided they don't try and make it a kids movie (I don't see how they could) it should be pretty good! Any thoughts? Do you prefer Alan Moore's work to stay on paper?

I would, of course, love to see a film version, but I'm afraid that they will be unable to encapsulate the mammoth scope of the story. I'd really rather see it as an HBO miniseries or something.

Considering what they did to League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and Alan Moore's bad experiences with Hollywood in general, I'm a little apprehensive of this.
