Walk in the Rain without an Umbrella

Where I live it is considered whimpy to even carry an umbrella, it's actually really looked down upon. I don't know if I've ever used one in my life. I don't know why people think getting wet with rain water will make you sick, that has never made sense to me.

it's raINING (today)

I've always walked in the rain without an unbrella, and for some odd reason I've never become sick from it. Must be because to have an umbrella in the rain is the same as taking an umbrella into the shower. Both instances you get wet. Both instances you dry off with towls (if in the rain you really become drenched). Heh. Now that's a good image, some moron taking their umbrella with them into the shower so they don't get wet . . . hahaha

I love the rain, mainly because I live in australia and we were just coming out of a massive dought, I love sitting in my bed at night and watching the thunder storms :)

Yea Cadao people are stupid they think rainwater will make you sick, it is just like shower water unless it is acid rain. But yea it can pick up pollution from the air but I live out in the country so there is not much pollution. And also my immune system works because I ate dirt as a kid, I didn't have one of those stupid moms who douses their kid in sanitizer every ten minutes because then you don't build up any resistance to the germs. Crazy. Let your kids eat dirt!

I agree dogdaydreamer! My mother let us do all sorts of things that would appall 'good' mothers – and low and behold, we were the only kids in school that rarely got the flu. Funny, eh? By protecting their children they are really stacking the chances against them. Sad, really.

i personally love the rain, walking through it without an umbrella. i always do that. but i always go around with my gf. she says it's "sooo fantabulously romantic", lol. walking in the rain with nothing to shield you is one of my favoirite things.

singin’ in the rain, just singin’ in the rain… i added ‘best peaceful feeling’ and ‘best philosophical thing’. idk, walking in the rain just seems to slow you down, your mind, body, everything, and i think that helps you think more deeply. and even if you don’t end up coming up with the answer to life, chances are, you’ll come back with a more peaceful attitude to things in general. anyway, i love doing it. beats the cruel and garish sun anyday.

although i can't do that relaxing,playful,best best best thing ever,often….when i do,i feel i am in my natural habitat!..so close to nature,so pure!:D

rain is just so much fun. kissing in it, running in it, dancing in it, crying in it, singing in it...especially in a really big city...

except when it's freezing cold outside. then i hate it.

Walking in the rain feel so refreshing and it makes you feel alive. When i walk in the rain all my saddest is all gone. 

it's even better with no shoes on, but with stockings :3

When I was 4 or 5 (Well I really don't know but anyway) I told my mum 'Can I put my swimsuit on and go and dance in the rain?' O.o
