Volcom is a clothing manufacturer located in Costa Mesa, California founded by Richard “Wooly” Woolcott. It caters to the surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding markets, born out of the founders’ own experiences with these sports. Volcom Stone Industries has been very successful after getting a publicly traded stock on the NASDAQ . Volcom has three Retail Locations. The first store is located in LA on 126 La Brea, with 2 additional stores opened in 2006 in San Diego, and Santa Barbara. Volcom is known for its elaborate uses of the “stone” logo pictured on the right and its “Youth Against Establishment” motto. It is also actively involved in a campaign that it calls “Let the Kids Ride Free”.

People who shop there don’t even skateboard or anything…sad. And the logo’s ugly, I wouldn’t want to buy a T-shirt just to advretise them.
