A cheerful and energetic young woman who, along with Mai, accompanies Princess Azula on her quest to capture Zuko, Iroh, and the Avatar. Flashbacks show her to have been one of Azula's childhood friends; Azula refers to meeting her at the Royal Fire Academy for Girls. Ty Lee is a skilled acrobat who strikes pressure points to disable her opponents.
