I just saw it, and maybe I'm just a writing-sensitive movie-goer, but man, I hated this movie. As we drove home from the theater, my friends and I kept pointing out all of the plot problems, the bad cinematography, the confusing action scenes, the poorly-planned story progression, the boring character interactions, the empty dialogue, the obvious hypocrisy among those characters, the deleted curse words, the total lack of logic behind the actions of the characters, the list just goes on and on. This movie was as badly written as Superman Returns. I'm a huge action movie fan. I love movies with aliens, robots, and explosions, but come on, Hollywood! I've seen enjoyable, well-written action movies before. This is not one of them. This is why movie piracy is such a big problem: Hollywood doesn't seem to have the ability to make enjoyable movies anymore. They're not worth paying for. Pretty much the only things I liked about this movie were the sound effects and the voice work of the Autobots. Everything else was boring, and just plain bad. It's as though they didn't want the quality of this movie to be its selling point. Only the popularity of the source material seems to have mattered. Unfortunately that seems to be a growing trend in the movie industry, these days.
i agree with hideous monster. Im sure i never will see a movie made by michael bay again.
nothing in this movie is like it should be, hell even the greatest cartoon hero robot optius prime is a dumb coward in this movie. And he doesn't looked cool too. If moviemakers can't furfill a remake on something then just DONT! Lot's of transformers fan's are disapointed with this movie. Why didn't he made something new? Still can't believe how this movie is screwed up. i was so looking forward to it. And now it hurts me that i watched the movie. Same thing with spiderman and the x-men. It hurts how the great original story is destroyed by moneyaddicted diractors dictators.
I never thought I'd find a situation where I would say this, but they should have let Uwe Boll direct this movie. At least then, I would have known ahead of time that it wouldn't be worth the trip, and I might have spent my money on something else.
I don't. I found him to be very difficult to understand, and felt that they should have included subtitles, every time he tried to piece his words together through radio signals. I liked the robot who wanted to blast everything away, and who was "lubricated" by the dog.
I'm quite aware of why he couldn't speak without the radio, but that's no excuse for having an incomprehensible character in a major motion picture of this one's budget. I also thought he was less romantic and more creepy. What kind of character tries to arrange people into the sort of situation where they would make out or worse, inside or on top of him? He's a peeping tom, a pervert, and has no respect for human privacy.
I didn't. I bookmarked it. Sorry if I have such high standards as far as movies go. It's just that having worked on some movies, and gauged audience reactions, I've learned to be very picky. The slightest annoyance gets magnified in my own mind, because it's always something that I know the director should have noticed and fixed during writing or production.
The picture fooled me into thinking this was for the original 80's cartoon movie! Man, that was good, best cartoon movie ever! Still, the live-action version of last year was good as well (in my opinion anyway)

Agent Simmons was the one "lubricated" by Mojo.
Hank
Bumblebee's vocal chords was damaged in a fight with Barricade.
Plus he didnt hav a mouth.
He tells things thru radio or eyes... getting bigger n smaller n brighter.
Bumblebee is a neat spy n the guardian of his human friend, hes also romantic n humorous.
luv Bumblebee

Awesome CGI. While watching this movie, I've realized that I live in the 21st century.
