Torchwood

Is it any good? I’m currently watching Firefly which is reasonable enough but i’ll be finished with that before long :)

It’s fan-flippin-tastic! Get watching it immediately.

As I said somewhere else, most people I know haven’t been too thrilled by it, but I quite enjoyed the first episode. It’s more “adult” than Doctor Who.

I watched the 1st 2 episodes last night and didn’t mind at all. Can’t wait for the rest.

So far it is good, plus I just started watching Dr. Who (I know I’m late to the party), so it’s fun seeing how they tie into with one another.

It showed promise in the initial episodes, but in the end I agreed with Mr Biffo:

“It got better as the series went along, but – let’s be honest – it really wasn’t very good. It ended much as it finished, with gratuitous swearing, blood and sex, plots which made no sense, and characters who failed to convince. Maybe it’ll grow up a bit by the time series 2 gets written, but I suspect it’ll stubbornly continue in much the same vein.”

I watched an episode and a half, that was enough for me to see that its not quite my thing. I don’t want the BBC to stop making sci-fi or Doctor Who spin offs, they just need to do a bit better job of them.
