Much more alarming than the few songs which have aged is the number which have not. That Was The Year That Was was recorded in 1965 and the majority of its topics still appear in the news every day now. MLF, Send the Marines, Pollution and Who's Next could all have been written about this year's news. Have we got nowhere in 40 years?

Alma is probably his best song.
Lobachevsky is certainly the best mathematical song.
I'm rather partial to The Masochism Tango.
The great thing on bestuff: One can discover new stuff. I youtubed Tom Lehrer songs for more then one hour and I like them.
Poisoning Pigeons in the Park fills my heart with joy.
"...When they see us coming, the birdies all try an' hide
But they still go for peanuts when coated with cyanide..."
I discovered his work when I was 18. It has never aged - except for a few political jokes, like Whatever became of Hubert?
