The X Files movie came out in 1998. With the X files closed Mulder and Scully have to deal with life without it and stuck on jobs they don’t like. In the case where a building was blown up to cover three bodies that were infected with a virus that nobody could explain leads Mulder and scully all the way to Texas where they uncover corn crops and bees. Later Scully told Mulder that she was being moved to Salt Lake City it brought up emotion between the two. A dam bee stung Scully giving her the virus and without warning she was moved to Antarctica where Mulder finds and saves her. When they get back to D.C. they show the evidence and are given the statement that the X Files is back on track. Continues in season six.
