The Work of Hans Holbein ,The Younger

With a recommendation from Erasmus and attached to the household of Sir Thomas More,Holbein was well placed to paint many portraits at the Court of King Henrry VIII.
He actually had many talents, including design(he designed some of the Kings' state robes)but he is chiefly remembered for portraits of men and women that were often so incredibly lifelike that they have served as "snapshots"of the Tudor World.
