The irony of this utterance coming from the mouth of one of the richest men in the world (Brad Pitt) is not lost on me but he looks so cool when he says it!

I daresay that it depends on if you can afford security guards or not :)
Doesn’t tht mean B.P would be best placed to know this? And dont forget he is currently in Africa with La Jolie, making sure the little one gets the message right from the beginning. :-)
I just got another 3 boxes of 37 out of storage the other day hunting for my USB to Ethernet adaptor. I can’t find it.
Now I have even more crap everywhere. I think I partially agree with this sentiment and… well… might have to bookmark it.
I’m just adding that I found my USB to Ethernet adaptor. It was in one of the last boxes.
you should be able to throw away your stuff, get the money for it and start all over.. I cant
sounds so cool, feels no possible to be done!
“you should be able to throw away your stuff, get the money for it and start all over”
Old enough now to know that I would just waste the money on more silliness…not old enough yet to know how to fix that. Worse, it’s all gear…computer stuff, photog stuff, drum stuff. No house. Car is…not good. Four shirts. Savings? HA! Good I know how to do a lot of different things, I’ll be working til the day I die…
It may have been said by Brad Pitt, but remember that it was not originally written by Brad Pitt.
Either way, it hardly matters. Regradless of their financial status, most people (myself included) are very attached to their belongings. So attached that those belongs do end up owning them. Why else would we need a big, expensive house? And the fancy car to get us from said house to the high-paying, soul-sucking job we get to pay for the house we now need to store all of our ultimately useless crap.
The ultimate irony? Me being very, very attached to my original first-release hard-back edition of the “Fight Club” book.
I have to say after losing my grandmother recently, looking at my mom’s house and her stuff and then looking at my stuff, I really feel owned. It makes me want to just start getting rid of things regardless of value, sentimental or monetary.
“it’s only after you’ve lost everything, that you’re free to do anything.”
one of my favourite moves it make me think about something i had never think before like what exactly i wanna be
