dont get fooled, the name scream isnt about the person on the painting

The person you see is munch himself, when he was walking with his friend he suddenly was overwelmed with depressness after seeing the sky screaming, like you see on the picture. Later he made a painting about it. (more then one)

If something is good its worth painting 6 times at least…and 2 separate ones have been nicked and recovered.
