The 75-issue comic book series written by Neil Gaiman followed the Sandman AKA Dream of the Endless (a personification of dreams, existing before and after gods) at many different points in his long life, although it focused heavily on the time after he escaped imprisonment at the hands of an occult group. Dream is known by many different names, most commonly Morpheus.

Which is the best volume?
The ever so gloomy Dream. I think I like him because of his mysterious and serious aura yet when he is with Death, he seems different. Like when Death threw a bread at his head it was funny.
