Apparently not, Masta. But the alphabet has been altered in the past, I think, so you may be right (unless this is one of your mischievous postings!)
Well I remember from Apocalypse Now, Col. Walter E. Kurtz set up camp in Cambodia, and it was known as sector King Zulu King.
That would appear to be a mix between the NATO phonetic alphabet (seen above) and the Western Union phonetic alphabet, which has 'king' as k, but 'zero' as z. Or, indeed, the LAPD phonetic alphabet, which has 'king', but 'zebra' for z.
Oh right, of course... yeah that's what I was thinking also... Western Union, better than sending cash ;)
