I personally think that this movie is priceless. For one, it has Edward Norton and Naomi Watts as it's lead stars and, needless to say, they are perfect for the parts. Plus John Curran (director) was brilliant at this type of films where the main characters have internal conflicts. He can make his characters speak in volumes w/o uttering a word. And this is the best love story because it's not your typical love story. It is more than that. It's a film about acceptance, forgiveness and endurance. The stuff a great love is made of.

Love this film, though it was a little sad.
I know. I had a runny nose by the time I finished watching this film. I cried like mad for the two main characters. And there were so much scenes where Edward and Naomi really shined. That line where Edward's character said "Interrupt me again, and I'll strangle you".. or something to that effect.. that was pretty intense. WOW

I completely agree with ragamuffin girl and anyone else that loves the scene in which Walter grabs Kitty and says "Interrupt me again and I'll strangle you." ,when he says that, my whole body just quivers. I also like the line from Walter and Kitty's first night in Mei Tan Fu when he ses her holding that doll and he says "I wouldn't touch that if I were you…they may have died in that bed…this can be your room."...Is it just me, or is he really sexy whn he's being mean?
