There is nothing more inexhaustibly fascinating (though occasionally frustrating) than our fellow humans and the space they live in, work in, and move through.
Alongside the peerless Henri Cartier-Bresson, there are no finer exponents of the genre than the great post-war American photographers: Robert Frank, Gary Winogrand, Joel Mayerowitz, Lee Friedlander, Lisette Model, Diane Arbus, and many more that I’m too pissed to remember at present.
