Never much got into Voyager, but recalling the phrase “Please state the nature of the medical emergency” still makes me chuckle a bit to myself.
As much as I love Data (and I really do), after 7+ years Brent Spiner’s gentle, innocent android-who-only-really-wants-to-be-human act on TNG , it was tremendously refreshing to watch the sarcastic and perenially-exasperated Doctor pretty much act as the anti-Data on Voyager.
