Yeah, the banging was eerie, but not until we realize what causes the banging does it get downright scary. One scene the movie could have done without was the scene where the old wheelchair chased people down the stairs and around the house, it was almost comical. Thoughts??
that's what i meant, what caused the banging was tramatizing... i could have worded that better. :)
i agree about the wheelchair- when i was 10, it scared the crap outta me, but it's not the movie's best moment by far. what i do like is all the little twists and turns that end up happening. the first time i watched it, i was like "oh... oh... WHAT?!" hehe, like i said, i was 10. :P
Yo, I was the same way, watching that movie was almost like turning the pages of a book, with each turn something else was revealed! Man, I'm getting chills just thinking about the movie while I'm writing this. How about when the Senator was sitting at his desk with the duplicate medallion in his hand trying to contemplate what George C. Scott has just told him, and the picture starts jumping around and shaking. Whoa!

how is that more people don't love this movie?! i know my husband doesn't like it at all. i make him watch it every year at halloween. :P i'm just convinced that one of these times, he'll get it!
i get creeped out for days after watching it.
I talk about the movie so much that my wife says ahe likes the movie so she won't get dragged into a day-long debate. (hehe) She really likes it cuz it's such a great movie.
