The Buffyverse is the general term used by fandom to describe both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off, Angel. Created by Joss Whedon, the Buffyverse spanned from the premier of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in March of 1997 to the finale of Angel in May 2004.
