After watching the Anthology over 15 times, I am still not sick of them!
Hands down
No doubt about it!! My room is covered with Beatles paraphernalia and I watch their movies and anthologies and listen to their fab music over and over and I still don’t get sick of them! They made history and turned the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s into a classic era when they delivered a musical phenomenon to the rest of the world!! Long live Beatlemania!!
I can never get enough of the Beatles..need more and more.
The best. Just like me.
OHHHHHH YEAH !
We’ll live in a yellow submarine
Yeah, yeah yeah
Legends. :)
the fab four !
Wow Beatles!! Fantastic songs! They are love today like Yesterday!!
Beatles is the greatest band..
the best band ever…
no reason to doubt that beatles is the greatest band of all times…..
Musically, they were fantastic. Lyrically, they were often horrible, and there is no excuse for that, especially when they proved that they could pen good lyrics on such songs as “Come Together” and “Eleanor Rigby.” Also, the White Album is, to my mind, one of the most overrated records ever made. There is a lot of crap on there (“Birthday” and “Dear Prudence,” for two).
Pffffft… I love “Dear Prudence”!
DROOLS
U GUYS ARE HOT !!!
Once upon the Time I was a child! Let it be
obviously the best band ever no1 could ever compete. fuck those who remake their songs (aka thrice, the used, nada surf n any other stupid bands who have)
Anybody who hasn’t, should really read Bob Spitz’s biography.
I’m in the middle of Bob Spitz’s biography… very VERY good!
One of the best bands that ever existed.
the beatles are amazing,i am obsessed. I wish they were still all alive and together. If paul mccartney came to my town i would probably do anything i can to get a ticket. I love these guys :D
THEY ARE SIMPLY THE BEST !!!!!!
Abbey Road… nuff said.
“Musically, they were fantastic. Lyrically, they were often horrible”
I agree.
“and there is no excuse for that”
I disagree. most lyrics are not very good.

I could not disagree more. Granted, not all of their songs had the greatest lyrics but to say they were “often horrible” is simply not true.
Irrespective of lyrics, (I mean, a lot of modern bands write incomprehensible lyrics, look at Interpol’s songs—“the subway, she is a porno”?), The Beatles have done what every band dreams of achieving: a lasting legacy that manifests itself in other artisits’ work, eg) Elliott Smith, etc. And they really did start from the bottom.
The Beatles is the best band in the world!with no doubt
i just despise beatles…shitty love songs with the dumbest of lyrics
What’s wrong with you, apple76?!
Generally, when someone despise the Beatles you can be sure that they have never heard most of their less famous songs, and are thus convinced that it is ‘all about silly love songs’ and ye-ye-ye beat. Probably they never heard a note of ‘Helter Skelter’ or ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’. Well, it’s their problem! I personally think they have a timeless genius status.
“Musically, they were fantastic. Lyrically, they were often horrible, and there is no excuse for that, especially when they proved that they could pen good lyrics on such songs as “Come Together” and “Eleanor Rigby.”
Perhaps you should realise that when they wrote lyrics in their early years (62-65), basically everybody wrote and talked about the same stuff- love, girls and so on. You mentioned Eleanor Rigby and Come Together, but…hey, we’re talking about 1966 and 1969…We all know that from ‘66 on they changed a lot! And then- I wouldn’t say that for example ‘Yesterday’ has stupid lyrics, if you consider that Paul was only 23 when he wrote them, and that it was one of the first times that a man described an inner sense of anguish when talking about love…
Your so right…
You’re so right…
Yeah, it’s always easy to say ‘we’ve had enough of the Beatles’... but I suspect most people never heard the whole repertoire…..it is so diverse.
The Beatles? More like The Suck.
The Beatles? More like The Stupid.
The Beatles? More like the, um Stupid Sucks.
Sheila!!! Why did you leave me?!
Vano, No wonder Sheila left you. The Beatles are THE BEST EVER !!!
I agree Kopite!! :DD
There are better ways of getting noticed than ‘offending the Beatles’.. this is cliché.
They rule my world…:)
you tell it like it is Clarabella!
Thanks Masta ;-)
Yep. They are the best. The sum is greater than the parts. I mean without John around, Paul can be kind of lame.
I think they are one of those bands that sings sometimes totally random and pointess songs. Unlike the other bands that do that, theirs aren’t stupid or lame. They (quite literally) rock!
Jhnshft: You are right, they were massive as a band. But Paul needed John just as much as John needed Paul, that is the secret of the legendary Lennon-McCartney collaboration!! :)
