Well, as you might expect, it’s actually called The Canal Creamery, but my friend and I would often laugh our kidneys through our navels whilst contemplating how funny it would be if the “C” of Canal was to “accidentally” become obscured or dislodged.
If it ever did it was a happy coincidence, and had nothing to do with us. Honest.
Oh, and their ice cream IS truly delicious, and The Bayard House itself is an outstanding restaurant in a beautiful location…
