TextMate is a great editor but is not really an IDE. I wish I knew what the best IDE was. I am evaluating RadRails and Komodo now.

Why does someone need a IDE for Rails? Is it debugging?
TextMate is love. If the drawer had graphical SVN statuses and SVN actions in the context menus, I could die happy.

This program really would be reason enough to switch to the Mac (if there weren’t already many, many other reasons as well).
I love TextMate. Windows has a similar editor (someone had mentioned it), it's called e-text editor. Google it. Anyway, TextMate is the sh!t and worth the money!
