I started watching American Idol in 2006. I never watched it, but when I saw Taylor on it….I had to continue to watch to see if he was going to be the winner. Well he was and still is. He brought a whole new meaning to my life. I was so down and in a state of confusion about my life, Taylor and his music lifted me from the pit I was in. I am looking forward to seeing him in concert and Taylor, if you read these comments…..thankyou for bringing joy to my life.

I love Taylor he has so much emotion when he sings. Every song on his CD means something to someone. He is right in what he said He is so adorable and he seems like a true gentlemen which is really sexy! As quoted from an interview with Yahoo Music he said “Very rarely in music do you listen to an album all the way through and enjoy every single track.” Taylor’s is one of them and he is right.

Taylor Hicks is not only the greatest thing Idol’s ever discovered, but he’s the best thing going in the music industry today. A throwback to the greats of the past. As good as he is in the studio, you haven’t experienced Taylor Hicks until you’ve seen him live. One of a very few artists who are actually better in a live performance. It’s like he channels his musical heroes of yesteryear. The guy’s just a great, great talent. Thank God he’s had his voice heard. A fan for life.

Apparently people can buy the judges on this show now. Can somebody explain this to me please? I really don’t get it. He has no range and can’t carry a note, he isn’t original, and there’s no comparison to past winners. I don’t even watch the show or like that kind of music, so I’m completely unbiased when I say that. Oh well.

I have enjoyed Taylor ever since season five of AI. He has soul, personaltiy, humor, and is an amazing performer. I wish him the best in years to come. He is truly living his dream. He and his band are amazing. I was fortunate enougth to see him live in Birmingham and am going to his Biloxi, MS concert on 8/3. The best is yet to come.
