Takoyaki (Japanese: たこ焼, たこ焼き, or 章魚焼き, literally fried or baked octopus) is a popular Japanese dumpling made of batter, diced octopus, tempura scraps (tenkasu), pickled ginger, konnyaku, and green onion, topped with okonomiyaki sauce, green laver (aonori), mayonnaise, and katsuobushi (fish shavings).

Nothing beats freshly made takoyaki with plenty of Japanese mayo and katsuoboshi! I also love the prawn version. I could eat this stuff forever.
