T in the Park is a major Scottish music festival, held annually since 1994. It is named after its main sponsor, Tennents. It was originally held at Strathclyde Park, but since 1997 has been held at a disused airfield in Balado, Perth & Kinross. T in the Park is roughly twinned with the Oxegen festival in Ireland. A lot of bands who play in Oxegen on the Saturday often play T in the Park on the Sunday and Vice Versa.
