Syberia is a 2002 computer adventure game conceived by Benoît Sokal, developed by Microïds and published through The Adventure Company.
Well, it has been more than a while since I last played a good adventure game. The genre seems to be slowly but surely dying out, which is most unfortunate for its fans – people like myself. I am pleased to say, however, that with the advent of Syberia, a dim glimmer of hope seems to appear in the distance for all of us, adventure gamers. Developed by Microïds, a major French computer game company, Syberia is one of those rare true masterpieces which we do not see very often these days.
