Dubbed the "Sushi Prince", cooking prodigy Tsukasa Maizu (Domoto Koichi) gave up sushi after his father and grandfather passed away at sea. Unable to look at fish the same way again, he instead devoted his energy to martial arts. Tsukasa decides to return to the world of sushi after a very wise person tells him, "If you can master the art of rolling sushi, you will understand the essence of martial arts". And so begins Tsukasa's quirky sojourn through Japan as a sushi-making, fist-fighting journeyman.
