Storylines in this soap became completely outrageous over time. There were episodes about curses – and evil twins! And the whole time, the sets wobbled.
Marvellous television - for all the wrong reasons...
i really loved this show with meg and ben . i was pissed when they cancelled it and didn’t give it a proper ending . i vowed not to watch the new soap passions. but i did and loved it now its betting canned . life is so unfair
I`m from Romania and I`ve really liked this soap opera!!!Was,is and will be the best soap opera ever!!!No mather how much time will pass!!!! Fan SB forever!!!!!!!!!!!
This was indeed, lackadaisy, a marvel to behold. I can recall seeing this surface on the UK Channel 5 like a dynamited trout and being fascinated that - like Battlefield Earth - it was ever made at all.
It also made copious use of the technique of endless close-ups of the actors to reduce the proportion of the budget spent on the set. And I could never concentrate long enough to find out what plot (if any) was afoot - I was too busy either suffering from empathic embarrassment for the 'actors' or being blinded by tears of helpless mirth.
Oh, and the sets didn't wobble - it was more of an undulation.
