Strangers in Paradise

Strangers in Paradise is a long-running, mostly self-published black-and-white comic book, written and drawn by Terry Moore. When the series reaches its planned conclusion, it will include a total of 106 issues, serialized in three “volumes”.[1]

The series is noteworthy for its appeal to a non-traditional audience, in particular women who would not ordinarily consider themselves readers of comic books. It is believed that the series’ audience is approximately 50% female, although this has not been verified. This is an unusually high figure in the heavily male-dominated comics field.
