Ok, yeah, ‘It’ was lame and ‘The Stand’ never ends, but what about ‘The Dark Tower’ series (at least 1 – 4)? ‘Eyes of the Dragon’? ‘The Shawshank Redemption’? ‘The Green Mile’? ‘Apt Pupil’? He’s done some awesome stuff, much of which (like those last 3) people are usually flat shocked to find out are his. He’s not just a crap horror author, and his writing style is usually awesome at drawing you in.
FamousPick: Stephen King's FAVORITE BOOK PICKS
Fiction powerhouse Stephen Edwin King was born in Portland, Maine, in 1947. As a student at the University of Maine at Orono, he wrote a weekly column for the school newspaper, became active in political causes, and met his wife, the former Tabitha Spruce. In the early years of his marriage, King augmented his meager teacher's salary by selling short stories to men's magazines. Then, in 1973 he hit pay dirt: his novel Carrie was accepted for publication, and a major paperback deal provided the means for him to leave teaching and concentrate full-time on writing. Since then, the prolific author has never looked back. ..more

shining, misery, the long walk…
WHAT !? I loved IT…it is my favorite book!
i’m not sure why that is a great name for a mouse, but it is. maybe there was a mouse named that. i do not know that i am aware of one, but i could be wrong.
Well, i added the category. I don’t know if there’s mouse named Stephen King. But if i got a mouse, i would name it Stephen King. You know, Stephen King writes books that scares you, and makes you puke. And a mouse is just so little and cute, and don’t writes any books at all. They’re almost opposites.;)
'IT' was one of his best books, a great made for TV movie too.
I saw him at a live reading in Sun Valley Idaho, the cops had him surrounded like a rock star.
i like just about everybook he ever written but CELL… i really liked Prt Cemetary, Rose Red, and Cristine.
He is just so amazingly talented. Many of his stories are so out-of-this-world, I really wonder how he come up with those ideas…
'Cujo' scarred the shit outta me!
Amazing writer, my favorites are IT and The Green Mile
Yeh, Cell started out like a scene from "Dawn of the Dead" but then spiralled down into stupidity, but read Lisey's Story.. its one of the Stephen King books that made me cry, the others being The Green Mile, Dolores Claiborne and bag of Bones… But nothing beats Misery and Cujo for me.. hehehe.. and also the Mist, when i first played the original Silent Hill on Playstation One, I said to myself.. Oh lalah.. the game adaptation of The Mist hahaha.. and oh, Dreamcather is good too.. i have all of his books btw hehe.. and i personally think the movie of 1408 is WAAAAAAYYY BETTER than the short story.. Im sorry Constant Writer lol.. it has to be said.. Im still your number one fan, (not the Annie Wilkes type though lol)
