Its a bit weak. But i watch it. My order of preference is the original series, TNG , Voyager, Enterpirse and lastly DS9 . DS9 is the real stinker if you ask me.
To be honest, I watch it when it’s on as well – but I’d never buy it, and there are so many things wrong with it. As for DS9 … despite being such a big Trek fan, I’ve never watched it!
I don’t really buy DVD ’s to watch TV or movies. On the odd occasion i buy something i watch it and throw the DVD away…its the same with CD’s, books and anything else you care to mention…i’m just not a collector :)
You aren’t missing much with DS9 its crap basically :) The lead character, i can’t remember his name, is always angry. He looks angry, he sounds angry and he acts angry. Its very off putting and ruins the show.
I grew up with Star Trek and would venture a similar opinion to quaternions; except that unlike all the other previous series Enterprise so bored the doublet and hose off me that I quit trying to like it after two or three episodes. I wasn’t at all surprised when, like the original series, it got cancelled. The difference was that Enterprise deserved it.
I actually liked Enterprise, there was a handful of painfully boring episodes, but it was entertaining most of the time. It was one of those shows you had to stick it out though, unlike Next Generation, it was good from the start.

Hi-tech tedium.
