Maker of films such as Lolita (1962), Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964 – I can’t believe this film was made in the 60’s, it’s timeless), 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), A Clockwork Orange (1971), The Shining (1980), Full Metal Jacket (1987) and his final film before he passed way – Eyes Wide Shut (1999).

Still I think that the vandalism in the Burgess’ book could be expressed more real than he did.

Dissent: The artificiality of Burgess novel couldn't been translated better into a cinematic language as Kubrick did.

I didnt read Burgess' story but whatever the message was, the movie delivered with flying colors
