Beer… well, I would start with a lovely Prosecco (white dry wine) as ‘aperitif’... then I would have a pint of double malt lager. Then, while eating dinner, I would go on with Chianti, and, while savouring a dessert, a glass of Spumante. Afterwards, some more beer and vodka to the end..
And afterwards…....someone is going to carry me home.
It’s easier here in Italy. We have plenties of good food with no meat in it. Pasta, pizza, pesto, focaccia, and so on… we have good cheeses, great vegetables and fruits..
Although in Tuscany the most popular dish is the Fiorentina Steak!!
I used to. I used to like ham and salami most of all. And last time I went to Munich I wanted a sausage so badly!! But you have to sacrifice something, don’t you? ;-)
Yeah, and they are great too.. especially with some good Bavarian beer. Oh well, Bavarian cheese and Krauts are excellent too!! ;-) And Bretze as well…
Comments
I want some! :)
That’s a white sparkling one… don’t mix it with Chianti!
Oh ok. Which bottle do i drink first, this is the question! :D
Chianti of course… Spumante is a wine for a toast, for special occasions, etc. And then vodka…..;-)
No beer for you then? lol

Lol.
If you leave off the vodka you might not need to be carried…but oh well have the vodka too, that’s much more fun ! lol.
I found out I am getting better at drinking! I developed more resistance!! ;-)
Lol. With that sort of attitude you could pass as British lol.
I feel British for many aspects. Must be because I have lived in Britain and still travel a lot there…;-)
Aha. So you’re an Honorary Brit. I wondered why your English was so good :D Where did you live?
mmh, quite boring… London! But it’s an exciting city. Now I have started travelling more often to the North…
There is always plenty to do in London. You can even get a pizza at 6am :D
I know. Sometimes I miss London, but as to the pizza at 6 a.m., well at least that is not a problem!! ;-) I can cook it!!!!!!!!!
while listening to the dawn chorus!!!!
I tried to make bread in a bread maker once. It wasn’t a success, so i admire your ability lol.
It’s survival….lol i cannot cook meat, i am vegetarian, so i have to be good at alternative things!
I do feel guilty when eating lamb chops sometimes, but veggie stuff doesn’t seem that interesting to me :)

The most popular dish in the UK is Curry. British cuisine was so bad we decided to borrow everybody elses lol.
I know,I used to have it lots of times. Vegetable curry, of course! ;-)
So you can’t be persuaded to eat meat at all then ?!
I used to. I used to like ham and salami most of all. And last time I went to Munich I wanted a sausage so badly!! But you have to sacrifice something, don’t you? ;-)
There’s loads of sausage in Munich. Avoiding that must have been stiff work! ;-)
Yeah, and they are great too.. especially with some good Bavarian beer. Oh well, Bavarian cheese and Krauts are excellent too!! ;-) And Bretze as well…
Do you like English sausage? Bangers and Stella? lol
err… I don’t think I ever tasted them!!!
You never had Bangers!? You have missed out! LOL
