These things were great! You'd spin yourself as quickly as possible and then pull yourself in towards the pole, and you'd just shoot round even faster! Wheeeeeeeee! Hurrah for centrifugal forces!
Oh, past tense. I am so jealous. There were no spinners in my childhood playground :| Luckily me and my friend came across this new ultra-modern playground on our evening walk not so long ago, and there we found some awesome spinners !
