GAH! I have my own copy and have read it several times. IT IS THE BEST!
I have the blue cover edition
In English. Which apparently isn't as good as the original Norwegian …
Mmm-mh, here's a book that certainly impressed me! I read it some 9 years ago, though, and wouldn't know how it'd be like to read it again now. I remember I got somewhat enthused about existentialism after reading this one and continued swiftly to Sartre's "Nausea". I have learned later that existentialism is the absolute favourite philosophy among the young and seen yet again how not-unordinary teenager I was after all *smiles*
That's why the young are the best philosophers. Or at least the young at heart.
And yes I am aware of that sentiment's sappiness. :)
I learned so much from this book. Definitely handy, definitely amazing :) I love philosophy! I love this book! I'll recommend it to anyone who'll let me.
(I have the blue cover edition as well, wrinkly and bent because of so many rereadings)
