Soo Ae

Park Soo Ae (Korean: 수애) is a South Korean actress best known for her role as Lady Junghwa in Emperor of the Sea. She was born on July 25, 1980 in South Korea. She is known for her teary performance, so is known as "Queen of Tears". She is also known for her husky voice and her "neuter gender" face among the celebrities although there are lots of fans who disagree to it (?).

Her height is 168cm and the weight is 46kg which is very skinny even among the celebrities. Her star sign is Leo and blood type is AB. Her hobby is swimming, tennis and pocket ball (pool). Her nickname is "Little Jeong Yoon-hye (리틀 정윤희) due to having similar face features to Yoon-hye.

She graduated Ku-Am Elementary School (구암 초등학교), and after it went to Dang-kok Middle School (당곡중학교) and later went to Kyeong-ki Girls Commerce High School (경기여자상업고등학교 ). Because her family was poor, she was not able to go to College.

-She rose to fame by playing as Lady Jung-Hwa in Emperor of the Sea 2005 drama, acting as one of the four leads, a secret crush of Yeom Jang (which she ignores) and lover of Jang Bogo (which she returns it). She has acted well there and got many praises for her performance as Lady Jung-Hwa (including her teary performance) and was said that her "husky voice" gave one support in matching the character well.



For her performance, she received Excellence in Acting 우수상 and even got Best Couple Award with the fellow actor, Song Il Gook who acts as Yeom Jang.
