Shinso (meaning "divine spear") is a short katana with a curving guard that makes an "s" shape. It is owned by Gin Ichimaru and has the ability to extend extremely far by using the command "shoot to kill" or "shoot 'em dead" when extended this far slicing motions can be used as well to slash over a great distance.
