After spinning out such idol stars as BoA, Dong Bang Shin Ki, Super Junior, and Girls' Generation, SM Entertainment presents their newest face, Shinee. This contemporary boy band is formed by five members: Onew, Jong Hyun, Minho, Key, and Tae Min, the youngest member (only sixteen years old!) who boasts incredible dancing skills already acknowledged by many professional choreographers. A combination of the word "shine" and suffix "-ee", the group's name carries the meaning of "one who receives light" or "one under the spotlight". Their mission is to offer a variety of music that will encompass a wide spectrum of fans. Distinguishing themselves as a contemporary band, Shinee aims to be a trend-setter in various aspects of entertainment including music, dance, and fashion. Already being touted as the next idol sensational, Shinee is expected to cause some major ripples in the K-pop scene.

love them... its so cool that they made a boy group like them. young, fresh and talented.

i really like key.<3 he has a good voice and is good at dancing..KEY!!

When i knew that SM produced another boyband, i though i had enuff with those boy groups with their typical style...

but when i saw their 'Replay' video...i said this the new one.....different style & different sound...

And it's suprising SM could made a fresh R&B sound, after Fly to the Sky left the house....

=D I love how their concepts are so low-key compared to the ones from before. It’s so cute! They will continue SMTown fame. Straight up, just like DBSK, Shinhwa, HOT, and Super Junior before them.

I don’t really have a favorite… I love all 5 as a set! Key: because he speaks English pretty well and tenor rappers are awesome! Jonghyun: THE DUDE CAN SING! WOOT WOOT! Hahaha his Michael Jackson impersonation was funny too! Taemin: DANCING SKILLZ! HAYY BOI HAAAY! LOL. He can pop like nobody’s business. Word G. And mangnae suits him too! Such a cute smile! Minho: Cuz he’s hot-hot! Hahaha! I could’ve guessed he modeled before. Onew: Good smile and a clean voice. I love how he laughs a lot! Such a bright personality!
