Basics: Shin, (Okazaki Shin'ichi) is 15 years old. In the manga, it is said that he dropped out of middle school while in the Live Action movie, it was said that he dropped out of high school.

Bassist: Shin joined Black Stones as the second generation bassist after Honjo Ren left the band to join Trapnest. Shin first appeared looking like a decent boy, when Nana asked him to name a bassist he respects, Shin immediately names Ren. He was accept into the band under the promise that he will one day surpass Ren.

Appearance: At first Shin seemed to be a rather shy and normal. But after joining Blast, Shin began dressing up in more of a punkstlyed fashion. In volume 3 of the manga, Hachi remarks about the increasing number of Shin's piercing. His hair is silverish blue while his roots are dark.

Others: Shin's background is revealed later on in the manga, and it explains his reason for earning for support from women. During an exchange with Nobu about Hachi, Shin replies "I don't think of the women that wants to sleep with me as easy, they're just frivious. They want someone to love them." As a the tabolid paparazzi got more into the background of Blast, it was reported that Shin's mother commited suicide after he was born because he was an "unplanned" child. Shin's father tells Yasu that he has never cared for Shin.
