Although controversial oweing to it's origins, these scarves are great multi-purpose accesories. Keep you warm, keep you dry, and keep you covered in the sun and add a bit of pop to plain old jeans and t-shirt. I practically live in mine.

They probably are known by many names but this is the real one.
shemagh is the "term" for them. but yeah, they are used specifically in the desert to cover the mouth, nose, and the top of the head. :)

I asked a friend who lives in saudi arabia to bought me back sum red and white shemagh coz I thought it was trendy after 9/11.
I'm getting a bit addicted to these, keep buying them in an assortment of colours…
